Miltoast 밀토스트- The best Steamed Bread I’ve ever had

I have been an avid fan of watching Korean (American) Youtuber like Joan Kim, RilaCoco etc etc. I have noticed that whenever Joan’s friend visits her in Seoul she would bring them on her ‘Joanday Exclusive Seoul Tour’ and one of the food spot that should would bring all of them to was Miltoast 밀토스트.

I remembered watching a few of their vlogs and how much they loved Miltoast and they would always get the Steamed Bread Basket and  French Toast (that is actually what they only sell + drinks). I took note of the store name and address in my Google Doc of places to visit in Seoul. I booked my 3rd visit to Seoul and this time with my close girl-friend, & i made sure that we visits Miltoast. The first stop we went after we landed (a cheeky Shake Shack stop for Breakfast) and settled into our Airbnb was…. Miltoast!!

Luckily for us, the cafe was located just a metro stop away from our Airbnb. It was easy to navigate (with the help of Google Maps obviously). The queue was quite short mainly because we were there after 3PM. We waited in line for almost an hour. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!!

My friend and I order 1 item from each categories. She choose the French Toast w/ Red Bean paste, Butter and Black Sesame Butter while I choose the Steamed Plain & Corn Bread.

The weather was quite chilly but I still got an iced White Cold Brew while my friend got the hot Peanut Butter & Vanilla Milk.

Just looking at the photo makes me drool..

Everything was perfect. If you order exactly what I got, defo try the plain Steamed Bread with the Black Sesame butter from the French Toast!! How I wish I could bring a bag of the Steamed bread and a block of Sesame Butter home!! It is definitely not the cheapest meal you’ll get in Seoul, so expect a damage of 20-30 bucks per person (depending on what you get). BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT that we even went back for the second time before flying home. And the queue that day was twice the wait on our first visit.

I ordered the same Steamed Bread Combo while my friend tried the French Toast ala mode (w/ a scoop of vanilla ice-cream) & we each got an iced milk.

The Body Shop® Body Butter.

< These are a few of my favourite things~ >

bodybutter

I used to hate body butter cus they were tooo overly moisturising and doesn’t get absorbed into the skin & leaves a greasy residue on your body.

But one fine day, I was shopping at The Body Shop with my bestie, we were told of different promotions and items that were on sales & the sales person recommended us the Early-Harvest Raspberry body butter to us and at the time it was on sales for $19.90 due to it being ‘Limited Edition’.

Usual Price for one of these body butter are usually $32.90, WHAT A STEAL! Bestie & I both got once each. I bought it even though I wouldn’t like the after-feel of body butter because it smelt sooooo good! Just like the raspberry Maoam! I got home and used right before bed and I really liked it! I wan’t too overly greasy & got absorbed quite well. I was also kinda surprised at how thick the body butter was.

I kinda got addicted to TBS Body butters & when it was Christmas, they came out with three new LE scent and I fell for the Glazed Apple one at first sniff.

I really wanted the Chocomania but could not find it anymore in stores due to it being LE!I was back in TBS again and I saw a set of minis body butter and there were three in a set. The set contains the Shea Butter, Coconut & CHOCOMANIA! OMG! I obviously bought it and they smelt heavenly! I actually gave the Shea Butter one away to my sis.

A few months later they came out with new LE scents every 2-3 months?? I got them all because I’m a sucker for Limited Edition stuff!

Tried different scent & different body butter suited for different skin types and I have realised that not all of TBS body butter are the same as the Early-Harvest Raspberry one.

CONSISTENCY

Thickest: HYDRATION FOR DRY SKIN

Thicker: HYDRATION FOR NORMAL SKIN

Thick: HYDRATION FOR ALL SKIN TYPES

SCENT

Early-Harvest Raspberry: Raspberry Maoam scent, light, fruity, slightest scent of floral, doesn’t smell over powering

Glazed Apple: Green apple candy scent, light, fruity, slightly florally, slightly powdery scent

Fuji Green Tea: Light, refreshing, smell like a spa, commercial green tea scent

Forbidden Flower/ Smoky poppy: Very florally, very smoky, powdery scent, over powering

Coconut: Coconuty, creamy, light

Chocomania: Smell like real cocoa and not commercial chocolate scent, light

IN CONCLUSION (my own opinion),

The thicker the body butter, the more absorbent it is. 😀

Would I continue to grow my collection of Body Butter?

YES!
